Privacy Policy
League Iconic is a free fantasy football game: you pick a squad of players from European club competitions and score points from how they perform in real matches. League Iconic is run by Benjamin Ashamole, an independent developer (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the League Iconic iOS app collects, why, who else handles it, and how to delete it.
The short version
- We collect your name, email address and password (to run your account) and the team you build (to run the game).
- Your team name and your name are shown to other players on the leaderboard.
- No advertising, no analytics tools, no tracking across other apps or websites, and we never sell your data.
- You can delete your account and everything in it from inside the app at any time.

Technical information
When the app talks to our servers, Google (which hosts them) processes technical information such as your IP address, device type and operating system version, and a sign-in token. This is needed to deliver the service, keep it secure and prevent abuse. We don't use it to profile or track you.
What we don't collect
We don't collect your location, contacts, photos, health data, payment details or advertising identifiers. The app contains no advertising or analytics SDKs, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
How we use your information
- To create and secure your account and sign you in.
- To run the game: saving your team, applying transfers, scoring rounds and ranking teams.
- To respond to you if you contact us, and to tell you about important changes to the service.
- To keep the service secure and working, and to investigate misuse.
If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, we process your account and game information because it is necessary to provide the service you asked for, and technical information on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure service.
Who else handles your information
We use a small number of service providers, who process data only on our instructions:
- Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore and Cloud Functions), which stores and processes your account and game data on servers in the United States. See Firebase's privacy and security information.
- Resend, which sends our account emails (confirming your address and resetting your password). It receives your email address, and your first name for the greeting. See Resend's Privacy Policy.
- Apple, if you install a test version through TestFlight. Apple shares with us the name and email address you were invited with, the device and iOS version you test on, crash reports, and any feedback or screenshots you choose to send. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
Match and player statistics come from a football data provider. We don't send them any information about you.
We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, your profile, team, lineups, transfer history and team name are removed from our database straight away, and your sign-in account is deleted. Copies may remain in our providers' systems for a short time, as part of their normal operation, before being removed permanently.
Deleting your account
In the app, tap your team's initials at the top left, then Delete account, and confirm. This permanently deletes everything listed above. If you can't access the app, email us and we will delete your account for you.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, receive a copy of it, or object to how we use it. Most of this you can do in the app. For anything else, email us at the address below and we'll respond within one month. If you are in the UK or EEA, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Access to your data is limited by server-side security rules, so other players can only see the information described above.
Children
League Iconic is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.
No real-money prizes
League Iconic is free to play. It involves no payments, betting or real-money prizes.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we'll tell you in the app before they take effect.
